Cheriyamundam Shines in Green Initiative: Ranks First in Tanur Block for Harithamithram Services

Tanur: Cheriyamundam Grama Panchayat has secured the first position in Tanur Block Panchayat for waste management services delivered through the Harithamithram Smart App. The achievement is based on its outstanding performance during June, July, and August 2026. The panchayat bagged this brilliant victory by scoring 488 out of a total 600 marks.
In a ceremony held at the Tanur Block Panchayat, Hon. Block Panchayat President Mr. Noushad C. presented the certificate and award. On behalf of Cheriyamundam Grama Panchayat, Assistant Secretary Mr. Vinod K.P. (Karippurath Parambil), Health Inspector Mr. Jawahar Suhas, M.C.F. Caretaker Shibil T., Haritha Karma Sena Consortium President Mrs. Lijina, and Secretary Jisha jointly received the award.
Harithamithram is a mobile application developed by Information Kerala Mission (IKM) for institutions under the Local Self Government Department to monitor sanitation and waste management activities. It enables Haritha Karma Sena members and LSGD Officials to efficiently manage waste collection, track services, and process user fee payments digitally.
